The band was created in early 2001. The band is playing nu-metal, while with a few settings changes and the impact of other bands Sepal develop recognizable sound, which makes it different from others. Today's band is: Valentin Mrak (vocals), Alen man (drums), Damir Vuckovic (bass-guitar), Mark Turkalj (guitar) and Luke Turkalj (electronics).
After a couple of months in the garage, the band has its first performance in Metlici (Slovenia) with the band Zeus Faber, who have assisted them during these first months of joint playing.
After a couple of concerts, in the band is a new member of Luke, and music that creates Sepal takes a little different direction. Now it is a kind of alternative electro-rock metal that is not holding a standard template in the world of music.
